Chili Bear’s Tall in the Saddle Band

09 Jun

Last night we attended a presentation by Chili Bear’s Tall in the Saddle Band here at Homewood at Plum Creek.  Some of Homewood’s Line Dancers also joined in and did some dancing … and I just had to take advantage of it to learn more about my Fuji X100 camera.

This was the first time that I used the Fuji X100 in the Omni Auditorium under its somewhat varied lighting, and the X100 did a great job of handling the light, white balance, etc.  It is a perfect camera from the perspective of being able to easily change the settings while knowing that the image quality will remain superb under adverse conditions with a little help from LightRoom.  The only thing new for me in using the single 35 (e) mm focal length, it is that I need to remember to get closer.

Click on a picture below and it will take you to a larger view.  Keep clicking to go through the set.  I took the last picture while walking back to our Villa as the sun set.
