It’s cold and the winds are blowing.  What else is a dog to do?

I just wish that the Congress were a little more productive.  It seems that they have also chosen to spend their time in this manner.  I just noticed that the Army Command that I worked for has announced that civilians will be taking a 20% pay cut for 5 months this year.  That is a stupid result of the way that the Congress decided to reduce costs.  I’m all for reducing costs in a sensible manner; but I guess the Congress assumes that all the lower level managers are as stupid as they and thus wouldn’t know how.
