The above are a few scenes that greeted me at sunrise this morning. We had dense fog which then burnt off quickly as the sun rose higher and the day warmed. If you look closely you can find a few details like the ducks on the shore of the pond and the spider web on the branch in the last image.
For those of you interested in what camera I used, I used my K-5. It focuses better than the X-E1 and with the low light and the fog even the K-5 had a problem occasionally this morning. I have decided to keep both the K-5 and the X-E1 since they complement each other well. I’ll use the K-5 mostly outdoors but not always. I got a new Gordy strap for the X-E1 yesterday and I plan to use the X-E1 with the 27mm lens as my colder weather walk-about system since it will hang nicely around my neck under my jacket. I’ll use the X-E1 mostly around people, in town, etc.
