Ice & Snow

15 Dec

Yesterday was a wet day so I only took a short walk with my waterproof camera in my pocket.  The snow finally arrived midafternoon.  These aren’t as good quality pictures as some, but I was trying out my pocket waterproof Olympus TG-820 camera under different lighting conditions between around 1:30 and 4:30 in the afternoon.

This morning everything is iced over.  We have an ice dam on the roof of our sun room and the melting water is running down the wall out onto our floor and rugs.  Keeping me busy mopping it until they get here to fix it.

The icicles and the stream pictures are my favorites. I do like the tree one too, like the layers the trees have created, and the one tree in the center which stands out so well. I sure hope they get your sun room fixed, is it all those icicles that are causing the back up? They are beautiful to look at, but a real nuisance if they are the problem.

Yes it is just an ice dam on the edge of the roof.
