First Signs of Spring
On my walk today I saw the first evidence that spring is coming. There were oak leaves on top of the melting snow and the temperature reached 50 degrees, if only very briefly. The dead oak leaves have hung on the trees all winter through all the howling wind-driven snows. They are just now starting to get pushed off the trees to make way for the spring buds.
