E-PL5 Color-Correctness & WB

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I didn’t plan to use this picture on my blog, but it is a good one to demonstrate a point.  I am finding that the Olympus E-PL5 does an excellent job at getting the white balance (WB) and colors correct.  I took this picture of my breakfast under fluorescent lights using the 17 mm lens at ISO 200 and F2.2.  I made a raw file and used LR5 to process it.  The above image is as processed by Adobe LR with no additional changes/tweaking by me.  You will have to take my word, but the colors are correct when displayed on my monitor.

The more I use this camera the more I like the Olympus 4/3 system.  I had planned to use the Fuji X-E1 to take the pictures for my indoor projects, but I am in the process of changing my mind and pushing the E-PL5 a little more to see if I can use it exclusively.
