I have started experimenting with my new Olympus 14 – 150 mm lens on the Olympus E-M5 camera. Since I take many close-ups of flowers I went out to our front yard and took this one. I wanted to see how good the lens was at the maximum zoom focal length of 150 mm. Then, since the image wasn’t close enough and I hadn’t taken the picture as close as possible, I cropped it down … way down, and then resized it back up for my blog. The actual flowers are around one-inch in diameter.
So far I am satisfied with the lens. The above picture taken at f/8 with the micro 4/3 sensor was sharp enough and has sufficient depth of field for capturing details.
