It was eight degrees Fahrenheit when I took the picture on the right. The first rays of the morning sun were just reaching this leaf lying in the front yard. The holidays, my Bronchitis, and the cold weather have put a real damper on my photography, so I just had to run out and quickly get this image so that I had something to work on in LR.
Later after it had warmed up, I drove to town and took the following picture of railroad track scrap. This gives you some idea of how desperate I am to make pictures.
