As I have indicated earlier, I have been considering just using jpeg images rather than raw images in the coming year. I have been doing it for a while now and I have had no problems with processing the jpeg images using LR as and when I prefer. One unresolved issue was the impact of ISO on noise when using jpegs, so I made the above two images. Both images are straight out of the camera with no changes made.
The first one was at ISO of 6400 and f/11. The second was at ISO of 320 and f/2 using the 35mm f/2 lens. You can see the impact on depth of field but the differences in details and noise are insignificant as far as I am concerned. My conclusion is to use jpegs from now on when using my Fujifilm X-Pro2.
