Cognitive Dissonance

This statue was erected in 1904.  I think, at least the horse, is telling me now, that it is time to look forward.  The past is past, it is over, now is the time to move forward, if I only knew which path to take.

The British Dictionary defines cognitive dissonance as: an uncomfortable mental state resulting from conflicting cognitions.  I try to focus on my photography … which message, which camera, which lens, which style?

I probably subject myself to my photographical dissonance just to avoid the issues of the times relative to our country’s political state, holidays, etc.  It tends to keep my blood pressure under control; i.e. change what I can.
