Trying a Canon M50 Camera

I am trying out the Canon M50 camera.  It is a small mirrorless design with an APS-C size sensor.  The lens on it is a 15-45mm zoom with an effective focal range of 24-72mm.  For comparison purposes I made a picture of it sitting next to my micro 4/3 Olympus PEN-F with the Panasonic 20mm lens on it.  The M50, while small, has a nice handgrip along with a larger size sensor and zoom lens, and even weighs 10 grams less than the PEN-F and lens.  The M50 also has a fully articulated LCD like the PEN-F.

I have just started checking it out.  It is an entry level camera with somewhat limited controls, but it does have a nice touch screen for making adjustments in the menu, etc.  The following is one of my first images made with it.  This picture was made in “P” mode at ISO 100, 45mm, f/7.1, and 1/100 sec.  The second image below is a crop-zoom of the first to check out the details.
