I took a walk with my K-3 and the 55-300mm lens and looked for little things with my big camera. This Pentax setup is my favorite for walking about outdoors, except on the streets. The K-3 captures good details that are a little further away from me and it focuses pretty close. On this particular walk the first thing that caught my attention was the full pollen baskets on the Bumblebee’s hind legs. It looked like she was about ready to carry them back to home base.
The second thing was that a wasp had captured some form of larva that was as long at the wasp. It was having a hard time holding and conquering it.
Later I noticed these flowers, so I photographed them.
