I attended a Men’s Group talk about logging and was surprised to hear that it was mostly about logging in West Virginia at Cass. I have been there several times and ridden the old logging train up to the top of the mountain.
I made this picture with the Fuji X-E3 and the 23mm lens which I happened to have with me. I had been considering mostly using this camera to make ACROS monochrome images, but I changed my mind. I am now taking Provia standard jpeg images and then processing them to suit. That process gives me more control over the final image. Note that I’m using out-of-camera jpegs rather than raw files. I find that works great and is quicker and uses less storage with Adobe LR
