Surprised
I have been experimenting as I wonder whether I could just use prime lenses for all of my photography. One of the issues is “what about the surprises?”
I was down by Plum Creek photographing the bridge repairs with my Fujifilm X-E3 camera using the 35mm F2 prime lens on it, when two Mallards flew by. My camera was turned off and set to use a minimum shutter speed of 1/125 sec. When I saw the ducks, I raised the camera to my eye while turning it on and made this picture at 1/125 sec. in auto mode, not knowing what I would get.
When I saw the image on my computer I cropped down tight on the blurred ducks and then up-sized it to make the second image. It is just another example of what is possible when surprised while using a prime lens on the Fujifilm camera.
