All Fujifilm, Selling the Olympus E-M1 Mark II

I have decided to box up the remainder of my micro 4/3 camera gear and sell it all.  There is nothing wrong with the E-M1 Mark II and micro 4/3 lenses; but, I plan to just use my Fujifilm cameras and lenses since I prefer the image quality and the simplification of only having one system, one battery and charger style, same processing, etc.  I also prefer the external controls, but I do need to be careful and remember to set all of the settings each time I go to use them; i.e., be more deliberate with each photo session.  The Fuji system is simpler, but at the same time more complex to use, and more fun.

Since I have problems with holding and using cameras with my arthritis, I will just use the smaller and lighter prime lenses when it is bad.  I hope to shift my photography away from longer focal lengths and use wider ones, and this move is in line with my changing physical conditions and desires.

I even like the XF 18mm F2 lens used at f/2 in poorer light as in the above image so I plan on using the 18mm, 23mm, 35mm, and 50mm F2 prime lenses as much as possible with both the X-E3 and the X-T2 cameras; but I did buy the 18-55mm and the 55-200mm zoom lenses for events and other times when I really need a zoom lens … and don’t have to carry them far.  I still have, and will use, my Olympus TG-5 waterproof camera for special cases when I can’t, or don’t want to use, my main cameras, and when I need its macro capability.
