Using a Leica D-Lux 6

Fall colors are not just the result of the change in leaf colors.  The lower sun angle also creates some nice colors in the morning.

I made these images and wrote this post as I was waiting for the LX10 to be delivered.  I used the time to get more familiar with the D-Lux 6, both the colors and the close focusing capabilities.  The following were made at an aperture of f/1.4 and made as close as I could get.  The lens was actually touching the cup and the pen.  I like the softness, out of focus areas, colors, etc.  I can see where this capability would work nicely with flowers. The aperture is wider than the TG-5, thus the reason for the softness, blur, etc.  I can see where I might have to weigh the value of longer focal length and easier carry of the waterproof TG-5 vs. the wider focal length and wider aperture of the D-Lux 6.
