Since we had some heavy rain overnight, I went around this morning to see how the area in the floodplain along Plum Creek survived. I saw no major damage, just debris on the bridges and paths since they were covered by water last night, and some more erosion of the banks in a few places. The bank by the garden seems to be eroding more and will eventually be a problem. I also found a small fish in a puddle on the path down by the dog park and I was surprised that it was still alive, so I picked it up and put it back in the creek.
If you have trouble identifying what you see, my path was as follows. I started photographing down at the dog park, then the bridge area next to Creekside, then the bridge behind the Community Center, then the Morning Glory culvert and then the area by the garden, and back to Plum Tree Lane.
