Plum Creek Dams

Our summer flash flood created a series of minor restrictions in Plum Creek in the middle of Homewood at Plum Creek.  These restrictions (mini dams) have caused the water to flow differently than before the flood and have broadened the water out and increased the flow over our paths downstream.

You can see in the pictures that most of the restrictions are at the trees which have caught the debris and built mini dams.  The water flow during the flood also washed out and moved stones that created further alterations to the water flow.
