Thoughts Shifting
Some of my thoughts about my photography gear have been slowly shifting. I’m thinking more about expanding my use of my X-H1 and the 18-135mm Fuji lens. I have found that I can do OK with just that setup for all of my Homewood photography, even though there are a few situations where I prefer fast prime lenses. The above image was made with the 18-135mm lens. It is an uncropped jpeg image. Even though I like the size of cameras like the Leica X-E a lot better, there is no doubt that I can make more, and better, images over a wide focal length range with the Fuji X-H1 and the X-T2 cameras and the Fuji lenses.
The only thoughts that haven’t shifted, or moved at all, are my concerns about what to photograph. While I have been cutting back, giving up, on my hopes of finding a personal project that is ideal for a small rangefinder like camera, I still have the X100F, so far. I sold the Fujifilm X-E3 camera. I’m still dithering about whether to keep the X-T2 and the rest of my lenses.
What a whole lot of agonizing for you but you seem to be getting there…although the search may have to go on a little longer
