A few things that caught my eye while walking yesterday.  In the first picture it was Marcia walking with Misty that I first noticed (very small, your upper left section of the image); but it was the patterns left by the mowers that later got my attention.  Then I saw some blooming plants that I thought would work in B&W.

See the tree extending out over Plum Creek?  I wonder how long it will be standing before it falls across the creek as the bank continues to wash out under it.  A lot of the bank, and trees, have been undercut all along the creek and it won’t take many more sessions of high fast moving water to worsen the situation with many areas of the bank falling into the water.  When I got to the garden it appeared to me that they are growing stakes this year.
