I have Patti Smith’s book, Camera Solo.  She used Polaroid Land cameras to make flat B&W images for her collection of talismans that have true meaning to her.  It has been her practice to only make an image or two of those meaningful things, people, etc.  She still continues to do this, maybe with a smartphone now, and publishes them on her Instagram Account.

I missed listening to her rock & roll music when she was at the peak of her music career, but I have since found that I like her writing style and have read most of her books as well at listening to some of her current music.
