Light & Airy




Experimenting on how to make images like these. I used Acros raw files, X100V’s ND filter, F2, +10 on highlights and -10 on darker with the tone curve (slight flattening of mid-tones), and then adjusted exposure, vignetting, etc. I like this style for this type of subject.
Applying this style to other subjects at greater distances creates a look as shown below. For the time being, using this style anchors me to the Fuji X100V camera with the effective 35mm focal length; but using the X100V’s ND filter isn’t required all the time, depending on lighting conditions, but I wanted to see what would happen if I left it on all the time.
