Morning Photo Exercise

It isn’t obvious (good thing) in these images but I was practicing and trying some different techniques with my K-3 III camera in preparation for an upcoming trip to WVa.
I was using the camera more like a mirrorless camera by using the LCD to compose and adjust exposures while using the “dirty diaper” camera hold.
I was also using the 20-40mm F2.8 limited zoom lens fixed at 30mm focal length. That setting minimizes the length of the lens for walking about and is also an ideal effective 45mm focal length midway between the two extremes of the short zoom lens. I’m learning to like this lens more and more as I use it. It also has a necessary feature for photography in the higher elevation woodlands of WVa. It is a WR lens.
