Two-Step Enlargements

While continuing my thoughts about maybe getting another smaller pocket camera, I decided that I better take another look at my iPhone SE camera.  I made the first image of the Mimosa bloom.  I then cropped out a section, then enhanced it using LR which doubled the pixel dimensions.  Since that was still not a large enough image, I then used ON1 to increase the size up to 3000 x 3000 pixels.  The quality of the crop-zoomed image amazed me.  It definitely works well enough for up-close images in good light.

Next I made a long distance view of the pond as seen from my porch.  I then performed the same sequence of cropping, enhancing, and enlarging that I used on the Mimosa bloom.  You can see the results below.  The results were not as good but not bad, considering the degree of cropping, etc.
