Balancing Life’s Decisions
Life is so full of things we need or want but at the same time they bring other issues. Life is one huge balancing act.
The balancing act even extends into photography. What style of processing should I use? I sometimes find that color isn’t necessary and just distracts from the image.
Black & White? How necessary is consistency in style? Should I let the processing style control what I photograph? Would it be harder or simpler to primarily use B&W?
And then there is the availability of suitable compositions. Different subjects and compositions photograph better with different processing styles and cameras and lenses. Since I got older and moved to Homewood at Plum Creek my available subjects have changed greatly and I have had major issues trying to balance the kinds of cameras and focal lengths against what was available to be readily photographed.
