At Night with 12-40mm F2.8 Lens
I took the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 lens for a walk at night to see how it performed. It did OK but a lighter, smaller, faster lens would have been better. I’m still dithering about whether I would prefer to use the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 and the Olympus 45mm f/1.8 lenses rather than carry the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 lens.
I wrote that comment in a hurry and forgot at the time that the zoom you’re talking about is the 14-40 PRO, which I know is bulky and heavy. So maybe it’s not so convenient – but your work with it, above, is really beautiful.
Obviously you can do nice things with the zoom but I love those prime lenses. I get that the zoom would be easier to deal with.
