As we bask in warm 50s degree temperatures today on the second day of 2022, don’t forget the past.  I made these images on 24 January 2016.  

It is hard for me to think it was so long ago when I fell while out getting pictures and injured my left thumb.  The thumb has never been the same since, and I have not walked in such deep snow and slippery conditions since then due to concerns that the next fall might be worse.
