Trying a Nikon Z5

As I continued looking for a camera that I might want to use in the future, I tried another Pentax DSLR, the K-70 with the 55-300mm lens. I didn’t keep it. At the moment I am trying the Nikon Z5 with the 24-200mm lens. I made the above test images at 200mm with it. It is a full frame camera and has the most capability of any camera and lens that I have tried in the last two years, but it is larger than some other options I have been considering. I have been looking for one camera that covers the range of uses that I might have for it if I travel some locally.
So far my biggest obstacle with the Nikon camera is the difference between it and other cameras I have used. The menu and the language are relatively foreign to me. I am also struggling a little with understanding the differences between the jpeg and raw files when I use Adobe LR to process them. The white balance is also not as good as with the Olympus cameras, or at least I haven’t figured out the right settings for indoors. The biggest positive surprise to me is the quality of the ISO 51200 images.
