I have been using a small doll to check on how the closest focusing, different apertures, and different focal length lenses on different cameras perform.  My interest will be working with individual flowers later this year, but I chose this doll due to its size and colors so I could work inside as I compared different lenses and cameras now before we have the flowers.  

I made this image using a standard jpeg image with the Nikon Z fc and 28mm lens wide open at f/2.8.  This lens on the Z fc has an effective 42mm focal length.  The colors, etc. really surprised me.  I like the image quality.  I also think I would like using an e42mm focal length lens as a walk around lens. But, I haven’t decided that I like the Z fc camera.
