Like a Glacier Breaking Off

According to Susan Sontag, “Strand, like Cartier-Bresson, was attracted to the picturesque desolations and damages of urban life.”  It seems that many are attracted to a similar theme when capturing what man has done.  

I have been watching as a section of the old bridge here at Homewood at Plum Creek slips toward the creek and I wondered how such views might work in my toned monochrome style.  The slab started moving sometime after July 2021.
