GR III Practice

I haven’t been using my Ricoh GR III much so I got it out to practice on. I haven’t been using it due to the fact that I keep accidentally shifting the exposure since my thumb tends to turn the exposure adjustment when I hold the camera in my hand. In addition it doesn’t have a viewfinder so it is hard to see the composition and settings in bright sunshine on the LCD.
I have been using the camera in “P” mode, carrying it in a pocket, and pulling it out and making quick images. I think that is my problem. I use it like I was on the street making quick photos and not taking the time to check the aperture, shutter speed, and exposure setting. This morning I used it on a cloudy day when I could see the LCD easier. If I do that and take the time to check the settings, including the exposure adjustment, it works fine for me.

Some are just gorgeous, nothing better than mono, but not everyone agrees about that, ha, ha.
