Lost in Thought

I read an article of Guy Tal’s that has me thinking some more.  I reference it with a few words changed by me.  I changed his reference from artists to photographer’s to better apply to me.

The most important reason for engaging in photography: the creative photographer’s inner experience arising from the act of creation—the satisfaction, the inspiration, the self-knowledge, the intellectual freedom that make up a creative life: a life lived in pursuit of discovery and learning, of ever richer, deeper, and more ennobling creative experiences.

Dan Milnor also has an article on what to photograph that is helpful.  I encourage you to read it if you are also wondering about what to photograph.  The article is slanted toward long-term projects, but that is what I would most like to do.
