Still Dithering

I’m still working on putting a system together based on my Fujifilm X-T30 II camera for most of my Homewood event photography. For the above images I used my micro 4/3 gear while taking a walk. It does fine in good light for documenting what I see, even with the 14-150mm lens.
My problem is that I don’t prefer making these kinds of pictures, but I make them as I try to keep in practice with my photography, and at the same time have something to show the residents who live here. I try to capture what they didn’t see for whatever reason. For these kinds of images, the Olympus micro 4/3 system with the 14-150mm lens works great.
I also use my walks to think. Currently I’m trying to decide what lenses I will need for an upcoming indoor event as well as how I might photograph it. I’m trying to minimize the amount of lenses I need to buy, achieve suitable image quality, and at the same time pick lenses which I can get the most use out of when/if I decide how and what to photograph. Doesn’t look like it will be easy to compromise. I prefer fast prime lenses but I need longer reach and flexibility for event photography.
PS, the weather is also still dithering. It was in the 70s yesterday when I took the above images. Now it is in the 40s with a cold wind.
