While considering the Fuji XF 70-300mm lens I tried it to see if I could use it to photograph small things.  Above are examples of using it, then cropping the images, and then upsizing them to 3000 x 3000 pixels.  Click on one and then cycle through them to see them larger.  It passed for my potential needs.  I liked that it had a nice stand-off distance when using the lens at 300mm to make the above images.
