How I Like Them

These picture were made of plants growing within a few feet of our Villa, thanks to my wife for planting them. I capture views of the flowers, etc. so as to have something to experiment on. I like processing them differently just to see how they look. I prefer experimenting and playing around with images like these rather than capturing realistic, “pretty” pictures of birds, etc.
Working on this style started when I first read an article by Leslie Gleim about using a close-up conversion lens to capture sections and pieces of flowers. Take a look at some of Leslie’s work on Instagram.
