I am still just trying different types of subjects and scenes to learn how they look in B&W. If you are wondering if I intend to just make B&W images, the answer is no; but, I am thinking about “what if”. I make color images for use in Homewood publications, etc., but the more I do that the more I want to also make other style images.
Underlying all of my playing with B&W is the fundamental problem that I have limited things to photograph, so I try photographing common scenes around Homewood differently.
In addition to trying different ways to process images in B&W, I’m also trying different color processing. The following image is one where I shifted the colors to warm up the scene.
