Scenes from my Morning Walk

Some may be wondering why I made some of these pictures.  I often photograph things that make me chuckle or think, so I’ll mention a few things about the non-flower pictures.

Trees on the edge of Plum Creek can live on the edge for a long time; except for when the water keeps eroding the soil under them.  That is happening to many of them.  Eventually the weight of the tree with the assistance of a little wind causes them to fall.

I got a chuckle when I passed in front of our bus and I saw the words “Freightliner” on the front.  Freight is what I often feel like if I ride the bus very far.  It rides like it was designed to haul freight … not people.

The images of the fire lane show how that grass is the first to turn brown when we have a dry spell.  That area is compacted and designed to sustain the weight of firetrucks if they need to go along the side of Creekside.

The grass growing in the middle of the side walk reminded me that weeds, etc. always seem to find a way and place to grow.
